Profile

Bethany A. Croke, D.N.P., FNP-ֱ, is an assistant professor of the practice and the Program Director for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the Connell School of Nursing. She earned a B.A. (2009) from Boston University and an M.S. (2011) and D.N.P. (2023) from Boston College. She has practiced primary care for vulnerable populations in the community health setting for her entire nursing career and has been a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) since 2013. Her clinical experience encompasses acute and chronic illness across the lifespan, including prenatal care. She also led multiple quality improvement initiatives during her time at EBNHC. Additionally, she served as the first clinical program manager for EBNHC’s FNP Residency Program. In this role she fully designed the program’s didactic curriculum, created and oversaw the program’s evaluation process, led a successful program self-study that resulted in program accreditation, and mentored FNPs during their transition from school to community health primary care practice.
