The McMenamin Lab is actively recruiting highly qualified candidates at all levels! The Biology Department at Boston College supports many NIH-and NSF-funded research labs with expertise in cell and developmental biology, microbiology and immunobiology, and bioinformatics. The Department offers state-of-the-art research laboratories and core facilities. We encourage applications from women, BIPoC researchers, LGBTQ individuals, and people from disadvantaged or non-traditional backgrounds.
We are actively recruiting postdocs interested in using molecular, developmental and bioinformatic methods to answer questions about hormonal regulation of skeletal patterning, morphogenesis and regeneration.
In particular, we are recruiting postdocs interested in advancing:
- Gene knockdown in regenerating tissues
- Single cell RNA-seqÂ
- ATAC-seq and other epigenetic techniques
