Student Life

Messina College students live and study on Boston College’s Brookline Campus, experiencing a distinct residential community while still enjoying full access to the facilities and resources available on our Chestnut Hill Campus. Students live on campus from July through May of the following year.

Brookline Campus

Messina College is situated on the Brookline Campus of Boston College. Students have dedicated classrooms, a dining hall, two residential villages, a student center, and much more.

Messina College’s Ashby Center

Ashby Hall

The hub of daily life at Messina College provides classrooms, gathering spaces, a chapel, a learning commons for studying and tutoring sessions, and a dining hall.

Administration Building

The original estate house is home to Messina College's administration, faculty, admissions office, meeting rooms, and event spaces.

Residence Halls

Messina College students will live in suite-style accommodations in two residential villages on the Brookline Campus.

Science Building

Next to the Ashby Hall, the science building offers an instructional lab and classrooms for Messina College students.

Campus Gym

The Brookline Campus Gym features a basketball court and a variety of modern strength training and cardiovascular equipment, accommodating fitness enthusiasts of all levels.

Messina College students are Boston College students who enjoy full access to all òòò½Ö±²¥ campuses and amenities. 

The Chestnut Hill Campus is located in a picturesque neighborhood of Newton, a short drive from downtown Boston and accessible by public transportation. This campus houses most of the University’s academic buildings, athletic facilities, and dining locations. 

Boston College is home to 31 intercollegiate Division I teams, a variety of club sports, 44 intramural sports programs, and courses in aquatics, spin, yoga, and more.

Enjoy access to a fitness center, rock climbing wall, jogging track, aquatics center, wood-floor basketball courts, tennis courts, multi-activity courts, multi-purpose rooms for spin, yoga, and fitness classes, and more.

With more than 300 student organizations to choose from, you’ll have opportunities to connect to a wide variety of students, develop leadership skills, and make a difference on campus and beyond.

The Office of Campus Ministry fosters lives of faith and justice among òòò½Ö±²¥ students, faculty, and staff—inviting them to commit to ongoing faith formation and model lives of prayer, reflection, and service.

Dining Services provides excellence in service and food—making healthy, delicious, and sustainable food for the òòò½Ö±²¥ community.

With nearly three million volumes housed in multiple repositories, Boston College’s libraries are the academic heart of campus.
