Ambassador Program

Students who are interested in promoting and advancing the mission of the Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics will work in collaboration with the Director to publicize key events to the campus community. Ambassadors serve as stewards for the Winston Center.ÌýThese roles are open to all undergraduate students.

Program Overview

Roles

  • Create promotional materials and distribute on campus
  • Greet guests at Winston Center events and help to facilitate an enjoyable experience
  • Network with friends, classmates, and other social groups to ensure significant attendance at events
  • Foster relationships with media outlets to encourage press coverage of key events to the greater Boston College community
  • Participate in Leadership workshops

Charlotte Aslett

Charlotte Aslett '26
Lynch School of Education and Human Development

Charlotte is from Winchester, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Organization Studies and Human Capital and a Minor in General Business. At Boston College, Charlotte is an active member of the Real Estate Club and University Chorale. Charlotte is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and serve the Boston College community.Ìý

Liza is from Dover, Massachusetts, majoring in Political Science and minoring in General Business. Liza's journey into Leadership and Ethics at òòò½Ö±²¥ began with her involvement in the Jenks Leadership Project. This transformative program identifies and prepares undergraduate students to assume leadership roles in the service of others. Liza has found great fulfillment in her experiences with Jenks and is thrilled to extend her commitment to the Winston Center by becoming an ambassador. Furthermore, her engagement at Boston College includes volunteering as a greeter in the Student Admissions Offices and actively participating in the Women in Business club. Liza's multifaceted involvement showcases her passion for service, leadership, ethics, and Boston College’s mission of fostering individuals as men and women for others. Filled with gratitude and enthusiasm, Liza eagerly looks forward to contributing meaningfully as an ambassador for the Winston Center.

Cole Conway '27

Nicholas (Cole) is from Needham, Massachusetts. Cole enjoys swimming, skiing, running, and some casual pickup basketball with his friends. In high school, Cole served as the swim team captain in his junior and senior years and was a junior board member at the Foundation for MetroWest. At Boston College, Cole is an active member of the club swim team, Piano ensemble and the Freshman Innovation Program at Start@Shea. Cole is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and is eager to serve the Boston CollegeÌýCommunity.Ìý

James is from Summit, New Jersey, majoring in Finance. James enjoys playing spikeball with his friends, exercising in the gym, and skiing. In Highschool James was a retreat leader, deanery leader, and was on two varsity sports. During the summers, James works and spends time with his family and friends. James is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and serve the Boston College community.

Greg is from Long Island, New York. He studies Finance and Accounting for Finance and Consulting and has a minor in applied psychology. Greg enjoys playing pickup basketball with his friends, long-distance running, exploring the outdoors, and being with family in his free time. During the summers, Greg works as a barback at "The Harrison," where he builds relationships with the locals from his hometown. At Boston College, Greg serves on the board for Start@Shea where he helps student-run startups develop their businesses and 4Boston where he volunteers to facilitate the after-school program at St. Columbkille School. Greg is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and is eager to serve the Boston College community.Ìý

Akul is from Chicago, Illinois, and plans on studying Finance and Accounting. In his free time, Akul enjoys playing soccer, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. In high school, Akul was part of the Business Professionals of America, where he served as the club’s Treasurer and played soccer at the high school and club level. During the summers, Akul loves exploring the city and visiting New Buffalo Beach in Michigan. Akul is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and make a positive impact on the Boston College community.

C.J. is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, majoring in Finance and Philosophy with a minor in Italian. A lifelong soccer devotee, C.J. plays goalkeeper for the òòò½Ö±²¥ Club Soccer team. Throughout his freshman year, he worked as a research assistant in Church History. This past summer, C.J. received a grant from the Winston Center to travel toÌý Rome for an internship related to this research. He was drawn to the Winston Center because of its opportunities to learn from and talk to established leaders worldwide. C.J. is excited to be a part of the ambassadors program and serve Boston College.

Ellie Dyroff '26

Elliot (Ellie) is from Vail, Colorado. She is a communications major and has a minor in leadership and management. Ellie loves the mountains and the ocean, spending time outdoors, sports, baking, and fashion. In high school, Ellie was on the student council her Junior and Senior years, played two varsity sports, started her own clothing business, and graduated with Naval Honors. During her freshman year, she sailed for the Boston College sailing team. Ellie spends her summers on the East Coast coaching kids in competitive sailing. She loves to spend her free time with her friends and family. Ellie is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and serve the Boston College community.Ìý

Alexandra is from Manhattan, New York, and is majoring in Finance and Management & Leadership. During her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, sailing, and listening to music. In high school, Alexandra helped run a mentoring program for new students of color and was on the Varsity Alpine ski team. During her summers, she worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at the elementary school she attended, helping young children explore New York City. Alexandra is excited to serve the Boston College community as a Winston Center Ambassador.

Amy is from Queens, NY. She is a finance major. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, skiing, reading, listening to music, and playing sports. In high school, she was Vice President of the Red Cross club and was special events director for the Women in Business club. During the summer, she travels with her family. This past summer, she also interned at Balyasny Asset Management in the macro department, developing a short-term FX fair value reporting tool for her team. Genevieve is from San Mateo, California, majoring in Finance and Management & Leadership with a minor in Managing for Social Impact. She enjoys running, spending time with friends, watching pro tennis, and going to concerts in Boston in her free time. On campus, she is an active Women in Business member and volunteers through the PULSE program, helping special needs and ESL students strengthenÌýtheir writing and math skills. In high school, Matthew was a part of the film program, created many of his original films with his peers, and was captain of his soccer team. During the summers, Matthew spends his time lifeguarding in New York and making short films with friends. Matthew is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and serve the Boston College community.

Madeleine is from Providence, RI, majoring in Biology with a concentration in Cell Biology & Development. Madeleine enjoys rowing, playing the piano, and spending time with friends, family, and her two dogs in her free time. In high school, she was co-president of the Partnership Through Advocacy club, working closely with the Providence Refugee Dream Center. She rowed out of the Narragansett Boat Club, competing twice in the Head of the Charles Regatta. Today, Madeleine has experience as a research assistant in a plant biology lab and spends her summers working as a medical assistant at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She is excited to be a Winston Ambassador and serve the Boston College community.

Ryan is from Stowe, Vermont, majoring in Finance & Management and Leadership. His leadership journey began early when he was made the youngest acting manager at his town's busiest Cafe at 16 years old. Upon arriving at Boston College, Ryan was quickly captivated by his Freshman Portico seminar. There, he learned what it meant to be virtuousÌýand ethical in aspects of life. Through his involvement with on-campus consulting and entrepreneurship competitions, Ryan was quickly introduced by his peers to the Winston Center Ambassador Program. With his goal to leave a lasting impact on all his endeavors, the leadership and ethics program was no exception. Ryan's passion for community and vocal attitude allow him to continue representing the Winston Center for Leadership & Ethics Ambassador program with a clear heart and inhibitable enthusiasm.

Connor is from Austin, Texas, double majoring in finance, management, and leadership with a minor in applied psychology and human development. He enjoys traveling the world, spending time with friends and family, swimming, and volunteering to help the local community. Additionally, Connor is a part of multiple organizations, such as the Student Admissions Program, Scholars of Finance, and Sons of St. Patrick at Boston College. He has spent the most recent summers coaching a local swim team and working with young athletes to achieve their goals.
