Emily's background is in leading teams to support all aspects of the student experience.Ìý Her career in higher education started out in academic advising and student life, and she has worked in a variety of roles in which she has supported the student experiences from Orientation to Commencement. In her current role, she leads the Student & Academic Services team in supporting students through all aspects of registration and course planning, as well as working with student organization leaders on programs and initiatives related to enhancing student life at òòò½Ö±²¥ Law.Ìý She strives to help students focus on their wellbeing and supports students who are navigating personal challenges. Prior to her current role, she was Assistant Dean of MBA Programs at Boston University. She got her BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College and her MA in Higher Education Administration and Student Development from Boston College.

Nina Farber, as the Director of the Academic Success Programs, supports students from the time they are admitted through to passing the bar. She meets with students individually, leads workshops, and teaches courses designed to help students succeed in law school and as lawyers. In addition, she provides bar application consultation and bar preparation advice, as well as leads workshops and other programs designed to to prepare students for the bar exam and applying for admission to the bar. Prior to joining Boston College Law School, Nina Farber had a diverse career as a law professor and in private practice. She was an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing at Brooklyn Law School and also taught advanced writing courses at Northeastern University School of Law and Stockholm University, where she was a Fulbright Specialist. Before joining academia, she was an attorney at the law firms of Allegaert, Berger & Vogel LLP and Patterson, Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, both in New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Brooklyn Law School where she was the valedictorian of her law school class.Ìý

Theresa has been an administrator in the legal field for many years. She started her career at a small general practice law firm and moved on to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where she worked in the Consumer Protection Division, the Nuclear Safety Unit, and the Appellate Division. Theresa made the switch to higher education when the opportunity to join òòò½Ö±²¥ Law afforded itself. During her tenure at òòò½Ö±²¥ Law, she has worked with faculty, staff, and students in varied roles. Currently, Theresa’s responsibilities include course scheduling, registration, supervising the exam process and grading. In her role, she works closely with Academic Services and Student Services on the Chestnut Hill campus. Theresa graduated from Boston College with a BA in history.Ìý

Cindy received her BA in psychology from The College of the Holy Cross in 2020. She began her work at Boston College Law School in the summer of 2021 as the Administrative Assistant of Student & Academic Services and now serves as the office’s Assistant Director. In her position she strives to support students through academic advising, registration and exam administration, student organization support, and wellness programming. Cindy has her MA in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs from Boston College Lynch School of Education.

In the Associate Director role, Lauren supports student organizations and the Law Student Association (LSA), works with disability-related accommodations, advises dual degree students, supports wellness initiatives, and provides general academic advising/support to our students. Lauren has spent most of her career in higher education, supporting graduate students in areas of academic advising, student engagement, community programming, and program management. Prior to joining òòò½Ö±²¥ Law, she worked in roles of increasing responsibility at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and Boston University for over 13 years. Lauren earned her Master of Education in Policy, Planning & Administration at Boston University and Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Miami.

Lillian sits at the front desk of Student & Academic Services and is the first point of contact for student questions. She helps student leaders with event planning and budget tracking and works to support student life and wellness programs for the òòò½Ö±²¥ Law community. Lillian graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where she dual-majored in Classics and Psychology.Ìý
Assistant Dean, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Dean Brathwaite leads the collaborative effort of the Law School community to provide a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment, dedicated to fostering belonging for all community members. She consults with faculty and students on classroom climate matters and works with colleagues to support the recruitment, retention, academic and professional development of traditionally underrepresented populations. Dean Brathwaite also collaborates with various community members to create and implement relevant programming. Previously, she worked as program manager and student relations specialist at another local law school. Prior to that role, she worked as a recruiting team member at a large Boston law firm and an international law firm’s Boston office. Lisa received her B.A. in Sociology and Gender & Women's Studies from Bowdoin College and is pursuing an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies.

As Assistant Director of LLM & Global Programs, Anne works with our incoming and outgoing exchange students as well as with current and prospective LLM students. In order to expand our international opportunities for our students, she works with universities around the world to establish and strengthen partnerships between schools. She graduated in 2022 with a BA in Political Science and Classics from Tufts University and is currently completing a MA in Higher Education Administration at Boston College. She has experience administering various international programs. She has been working at the law school since 2022.
