Profile

Kenny joined the Lynch School in 1988 and served as a faculty member, along with varied administrative roles, including Dean from 2013-2016. She serves as associate editor for the Journal of Prevention and Health Promotion and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Prevention from the American Psychological Association's Society for Counseling Psychology in 2009. She has engaged in numerous collaborations with secondary schools and community programs and has published more than 100 articles, books, and book chapters and delivered more than 100 professional presentations that focus on the promotion of psychological well-being and the academic and career development of youth.
